Selected applicants will serve as entry-level trainees in the DLA Pathways to Career Excellence (PaCE) Program performing a series of progressively responsible IT Specialist (SYSANALYSIS/APPSW) functions, along with formal and on-the-job training (OJT)

Duties

  • The below responsibilities will be performed in a developmental capacity:
  • Attending formal training on information technology management and IT plans and programs including administration and program management, life cycle management, hardware, software, telecommunications, analysis, and structured programming.
  • Serving on teams for program/ project management for IT initiatives.
  • Performing tasks such as drawing flow charts, fact finding, and systems analysis.
  • Performing duties in various aspects of Information Technology such as life cycle management, systems architecture, and database management.
  • Assisting in planning and coordinating systems design, preparing technical specifications, monitoring development and testing processes, and developing, coding, testing, debugging and maintaining applications software.
