Position Summary:
The CSA Social Impact Fellowship is a competitive, high-impact internship experience for students and early-career professionals seeking to build real-world skills in social impact, leadership, and nonprofit strategy.
Fellows in the Executive Track work directly with CSA’s CEO and leadership team on special projects, organizational strategy, and cross-department coordination. Interns rotate through a unique rhythm of 1 week of learning followed by 1 week of experience, continuing this cycle throughout the program. This model allows Fellows to build skills and immediately apply them in a real-world, mission-driven context.
This is a hands-on, virtual internship designed for ambitious, thoughtful individuals passionate about innovation in the social sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with strategic planning, research, and organization-wide initiatives
- Support CEO communications, presentations, and cross-team memos
- Contribute to impact reporting, board briefings, and grant narratives
- Coordinate projects across departments (Programs, HR, Marketing, etc.)
- Participate in high-level conversations around growth, funding, and partnerships
- Complete assigned learning modules and reflection tasks as part of the fellowship cycle
Qualifications:
- Strong interest in nonprofit leadership, social entrepreneurship, or executive strategy
- Excellent communication, writing, and organizational skills
- Comfortable with independent work, research, and taking initiative
- Ability to navigate ambiguity and think critically
- Deep alignment with CSA’s mission and values
Commitment:
- Estimated commitment: 6–8 hours per week (virtual, flexible)
- 1-week learning / 1-week experience cycle throughout the term
- Participation in weekly virtual check-ins and project updates
