Audio Production Intern

For those pursuing a career in audiobook publishing, audio engineering, casting and working with voice talent, or audio post-production. Applicant will assist the Project Manager with all aspects of audio production including: managing production timelines, reviewing title material, formatting documents and audio files, pre-production on audio titles, researching roster talent for casting, managing communication threads among author(s), narrator(s), and the post-production team, hiring and participating in sound design, and ensuring all deadlines are met.

Ideal candidate will be a motivated self-starter, excited to apply technical and industry-wide skills, as well as learn the conventions and requirements of the audiobook publishing process. Candidate must have a basic understanding of audio production and how to operate at least one DAW (Digital Audio Workstation) with a willingness to work on other DAWs.

Interns will be given a $100 bonus at the completion of their term. Flexible 10 hrs/week commitment. Our studio is in Cambridge, MA, but many tasks can be completed remotely. Commission available for sale of studio rentals.
