Position Summary:
We’re seeking a warm, technically skilled Ballet and Tap Dance Instructor to lead two back-to-back classes on Thursday afternoons for children ages 4–10. The ideal candidate is passionate about early dance education, highly proficient in classical ballet and tap, and excited to teach in a playful, student-centered setting.

Qualifications:

10+ years of classical ballet training

5–10 years of tap dance training

Experience teaching dance to children ages 4–10

A degree in dance or performing arts is preferred (or currently pursuing)

Knowledge of creative, exploratory teaching styles; experience with Montessori or Reggio Emilia approaches is a plus

Strong classroom management with a warm and inclusive tone

Organized, punctual, and collaborative

Schedule & Location:

Thursdays, 4:45 PM – 6:30 PM (2 classes)

Located in Encinitas, CA

Fall session begins in September (training available beforehand)
