AmeriCorps Student Success Coach

This position is for a Student Success Coach who will work with elementary age (5-12 years old) students to help build positive social skills and learn to play. This includes a training through Playworks.org that will give you the skills to help our students learn to use play in their lives to build valuable social skills. The AmeriCorps program will provide training as well. 

This position includes a lot of time outdoors playing with students. It also includes helping students learn to manage emotions and positively problem-solve. It would be a great job for someone studying physical education, recreational therapy, social work, psychology, or child development. 

The position is Monday through Thursday from 10:00 am-2:15 pm; Fridays from 10:00 am-1:00 pm. There is a $900/month living stipend and a $2800 education bonus at the end of the school year to be used for tuition or student loans. You must be a US Citizen or permanent resident to be considered due to AmeriCorps program requirements.
