Pulmonary Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner

Sanford Health is seeking a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our Pulmonary Medicine department in Fargo, ND! 

Qualifications

Master’s or Baccalaureate degree (Associate’s or Nursing Degree if training prior to 1994). Successful completion of a physician assistant program accredited by the Accreditation Review Commission on Education for the Physician Assistant (ARC-PA) or its predecessors.
 

• Great opportunity to have a blended ambulatory and inpatient practice, without the need to cover nights, weekends, or holidays.
• Hours: Monday – Friday 8a – 5p.
• ½ clinic time
• ½ supporting inpatient pulmonary consults, working alongside an attending pulmonologist.
• Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
• Respiratory background is a plus but not necessary

Demonstrated current competence and provision of care, treatment, or services for at least 30 patients in the past twelve months or completion of an ARC-PA approved program in the past twelve months.

Successful completion of the national certifying examination and current certification given by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. Current Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) permit to prescribe controlled substances.
