Business Unit:
CSG provides the primary client engagement interface for Insight, offering expert input to investment strategy, sophisticated solution design, ongoing monitoring, reporting and all other client service activities. CSG’s activities are highly rated externally by clients and their advisers and Insight views CSG as a key competitive differentiator. CSG includes the following sub-teams and roles:
- Relationship Management Team: Our team of experienced client directors is responsible for developing relationships with institutional clients investing in any of the various strategies offered by Insight.
- Solution Design Team: Our team of solution designers provides expert input to clients’ investment strategy design and implementation. Solution designers typically tailor strategies to address the specific risk and return objectives of each client.
- Client Service Team: The client service specialists work alongside our client directors and solution designers to support the delivery of high-quality solutions and services directly to clients.
- Investment specialists: Our investment specialists support the portfolio managers for each product area, focusing on communicating key aspects of the strategy to clients including performance, positioning and outlook.
Role Overview:
This is a unique opportunity for a graduate looking to begin their career in the investment management industry, with an interest in client facing roles.
This role will provide broad exposure across Client Solutions Group (CSG) functional areas by supporting and working with a wide cohort of experienced colleagues. With proven success, you will have the opportunity to:

As part of this role, we will support pursuing the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation through learning materials, fee reimbursement, and study days for those that wish to pursue.
The role will report to a manager that oversees other recent graduates within CSG and there will be additional mentorship and coaching opportunities.
Role Responsibilities:
- Understand Insight products and strategies and how these can be tailored to clients
- Support discussions with clients, prospects and consultants to develop investment solutions
- Represent the technical aspects of the client’s investment strategy
- Help design solutions for new business proposals and supporting those discussions in prospect meetings
- Assist Relationship Managers to respond to ad hoc client queries
- Liaise with Portfolio Managers to develop appropriate portfolio management strategies
- Work with other members of the team on research projects, new solution design opportunities, strategy material, solution-based RFPs and thought pieces
Experience Required:
- Demonstrated interest in finance, investment management, and the broader investment industry
- Minimum 3.7 GPA (or equivalent) Bachelor’s degree or equivalent at an accredited university with a preference for a technical or mathematical degree
- Ability to multitask and work well under pressure
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities to support a culture of innovation
- Desire to work in a high caliber and collaborative environment
- Strong work ethic and a positive attitude
- Someone who takes initiative and is a self-starter
- Fluent in Microsoft Office – Specifically Excel
