Program Director

PROGRAM DIRECTOR: We are seeking a full-time Program Director to direct day to day operations of two 24/7 shelters serving domestic violence survivors and their children in Kent and Sussex counties. Services are trauma-informed, utilizing the Sanctuary Model.  General responsibilities include: ensuring program and staff provide needed services; hire, train and supervise staff; meet objectives and outcomes specified by funding sources; manage budgets; prepare quarterly reports for funders; and participate in committees and task forces. On-call responsibility. Requirements include: Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Counseling or Psychology or equivalent experience and education; two years of experience with people who have significant trauma histories; two years of experience providing supervision and proven ability to foster team work; and database/reports skills.
