Domestic Violence Counselor

Domestic Violence Counselor I:  Part-time Domestic Violence Counselor opening at Turning Point based in Milford. Under supervision of the Program Director, the Domestic Violence Counselor will facilitate groups and provide individual intervention to men who have used violence or coercive control in intimate partner relationships. This role is essential to reducing recidivism and supporting safer communities. Ideal candidate will have a Master’s degree in related field to include social work, psychology, or counseling. Experience in domestic violence or sexual assault is preferred. The Domestic Violence Counselor must have excellent oral communication and group processing skills. Some travel is required between Kent and Sussex Counties.
