The Department of Economics is offering paid economics tutor positions for undergraduate Economics majors and minors in Fall 2025.
Job Description/Requirements:
· Seeking self‐motivated, responsible, organized student employees who can tutor students in microeconomics and macroeconomics.
· May work up 5 -15 hrs/week, scheduled hours will be between Monday - Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Evening shifts may be added if there is a demand for them.
· Must be willing to work during fall semester.
Job Duties/Responsibilities:
· Record tutoring details such as student name(s) and relevant course(s) as well as their own workhours.
· Tutor students in either Econ 202, Econ 204 or both (Econ 304, Econ 306, and other Econ classes if applicable.).
· Proctor make-up exams when applicable.
· Maintain confidentiality, be punctual, and communicate changes in work schedule.
Required Skills:
- Good communication skills, able to work with a diverse student population, be reliable. Must have completed Econ 202, Econ 204 or both with a grade of A- or higher.
Preferred Skills:
– Work independently and efficiently.
