Videography and Editing Intern

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and innovative videography & editing intern with a strong focus in short-form context creation alongside longer-form storytelling adverts. This will be a part-time position, intended to follow Fall and Spring semester schedules. Our team focuses on making videos ranging from quick clips for TikTok, to multi-minute videos compiling our teams drone work for clients. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of digital marketing strategies alongside video editing skills, and a passion for driving results in a dynamic, fast-paced environment as our company begins to expand across platforms. 

Our video editing station is in-office in Argyle, with full Adobe Suite access and access to our databases for videos and files; however this position can also be remote should you have your own Adobe Suite access and video software.

Each small project (TikTok, Instagram, etc,) will net +/-$50-$100, with larger-form multi-minute videos netting +/-$200, with a cap of +/-$1,000 a month.

Responsibilities Include (but not limited to):

• Editing content from the team, ranging from fast-paced short form content to longer form cinematic storytelling, either for our socials or website.
• Supporting our team and directing in necessary shorts for capturing B-Roll, general production shots, etc.
• Analyze social media performance, providing insights and recommendations for improvement based on contents successes and failures.
• Collaborating with team members to ensure different aspects of our team are recognized across video posts (Software Team, Drone Fliers, etc.)
• Additional editing duties for smaller projects as assigned.

Ideal Qualifications:

• Experience in Video Editing, Videography, or a related field.
• Portfolio of past Video Editing projects (class, freelance, personal, etc.)
• Editing Skills in Adobe Premiere, Capcut and/or Canva - listed in order of preference.
• Familiarity with video advertising and general market awareness, such as TikTok, Instagram, and/or Youtube.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions based on feedback from posts.
• Communication and project management skills to work with our team.

*Preferred Qualifications:

• Results-oriented with a passion for digital innovation.
• Drone experience is a plus, but not necessary.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
• Creative thinker with the ability to solve problems and adapt to changing market conditions.
