Assessment Specialist
Position Type: Federal Work Study Only
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Create and deploy Assessment Surveys for Community Engage Learning (CEL) courses Ongoing communications with Director of CEL and CEL faculty as needed.
- Lots of room for creativity and exploration in learning for the right candidate.
- Office space available, but most duties can be performed remotely.
- Weekly meetings to coordinate work.
- Manage data from survey results.
- Create reports for faculty.
- Other Job duties as assigned.
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
- No special knowledge of assessment needed.
- Work-study funding required.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Candidate does need to demonstrate the following:
- Ability to care for sensitive data files.
- Proficiency with Excel worksheets.
- Proficiency with or willingness/ability to learn Access, Blackboard, and Respondus and other software.
- Excellent oral and written communication.
- Candidate must be available for a minimum of three “office hours” during the work days (M-F 9-5) and available for requests to be filled in a 48 hour window.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Interested in Service-Learning/Community Engagement.
- Skills in data analyses (quantitative and qualitative)
Anticipated Schedule:
- 5-10 hrs per week
