Job Classification: Full-Time Firefighter Paramedic
The Bullhead City Fire Department is currently accepting applications for Full-Time Firefighter EMT and Firefighter Paramedic. This position requires FireTEAM exam and a valid CPAT, and all applicable certifications.

Salary Information:
Firefighter - $56,165 - $76,189, starting hourly pay rate $18.79
Paramedic Stipend: $15,000 paid at an hourly rate of $5.02

District and Area Overview: Bullhead City Fire Department serves a community of approximately 44,500 residents. We operate 6 Fire Stations providing fire protection, emergency medical services and community risk reduction. We are located in the northwest corner of the state where Arizona, Nevada and California meet, nestled along the banks of the Colorado River.

Valid ARIZONA State Driver's License: Valid license in state of residency

Necessary Certifications:
· IFSAC Firefighter I & II (or equivalent)
· Valid National Registry or State of Arizona EMCT-Paramedic certification or

- Candidates that have received a paramedic school completion certificate are eligible to test but will need National Registry and Arizona EMCT-Paramedic certificate if offered conditional job offer.
· Current CPR Healthcare Provider certification
· Current ACLS & PALS certifications (Paramedics only)

· Passing score of FireTEAM entry level test within previous 12 months
· Oral Board Interview
· Fire Chief’s Interview
