This is a primarily remote internship with the opportunity to meet in-person once a month (in Birmingham, AL) for creative reviews and mentorship. These sessions will focus on brand training, feedback, and hands-on experience with House of Emma Rose luxury products.

About House of Emma Rose
House of Emma Rose, the flagship brand of Luxury Black Label LLC, is a luxury home fragrance line rooted in ancestral storytelling, emotional wellness, and intentional living. Our collections are featured at the Birmingham Museum of Art and expanding into boutiques and spas. We create fragrance rituals that support nervous system rest, healing, and legacy.

We’re seeking a Wholesale & Brand Partnerships Intern to help drive retail expansion and boutique outreach. If you’re detail-driven, love spreadsheets and research, and can manage a project from start to finish, you’ll thrive here.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver a vetted list of 15–20 boutiques, spas, or gift shops monthly with decision-maker contacts logged in Notion/Trello
  • Send wholesale outreach emails using pre-written scripts and track responses weekly
  • Assemble, label, and track sample/tester kits with precision
  • Maintain and update wholesale CRM with accurate data for follow-up
  • Track outreach performance and provide weekly progress reports
  • Assist with prep for retail displays and events (arch-shaped stickers, scent cards, branded inserts)
  • Optional (if local): Attend pop-ups or showroom events to represent House of Emma Rose

Minimum Requirements

  • Proficient in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Gmail)
  • Familiar with Notion or Trello (or eager to learn quickly)
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and deadline management
  • Professional written communication, especially via email
  • Able to work independently with integrity and follow through on tasks
  • Must be able to attend one in-person creative review per month in Birmingham, AL.
  • Available 5–10 hours/week September–December

Preferred Skills

  • Prior experience with CRM platforms
  • Comfortable assisting with light Canva edits (labels, scent cards, flyers)
  • Interest in retail, boutique merchandising, or luxury branding
