We are Prounis Jewelry, a fine jewelry brand specializing in 22K gold located in Soho. Each Prounis piece is handcrafted with care in our NYC studio using ethically sourced gemstones and recycled gold. This internship is a wonderful opportunity to see how a creative business operates and a look inside the world of handmade fine jewelry.
Prounis is seeking a production and studio intern for a 3 month commitment with the opportunity to extend at the end of the internship.
Daily tasks will include the follow:
- Errand running within the jewelry district, this will require organizational skills, high attention to detail, and efficiency in order to make sure all jewelry pieces are moved to the correct vendors and tracked within our production and inventory systems. This will include live quality control and strong communication skills in order for errands to be completed correctly.
- Organization and studio upkeep - maintaining the production organizational systems for our department to continue to operate smoothly.
- Post production tasks such as uploading images of new styles and products.
- Miscellaneous projects may include organizing of gemstones, assisting on Prounis events and launches
Required Skills:
- Communicative, strong ability to liaise between the jewelers and the production team to maintain high quality control standards.
- Fast paced and quick learner
- Detail oriented and good note taker
- Strong problem solver and multitasker
Requires availability for 4-7 hour days, 3 days a week
