Project Engineer
Project Engineer Position:
Structural-Builders and Restorations is a construction company located in Opa-Locka, FL that is currently looking for a Project Engineer, who can assist the Superintendents and Project Managers in field work support, procurement, preparing reports, pay apps, subcontracts, and providing overall support in every aspect of each project.
This position provides the opportunity for exposure to multiple departments, allowing you to gain hands-on experience and in-depth understanding of various functions and responsibilities. By working closely with professionals in each area, you will broaden your knowledge, develop a well-rounded skill set, and acquire valuable insights into the interconnected aspects of the organization. This comprehensive exposure will prepare you to contribute more effectively and adapt to diverse challenges in the future.
Attention to detail and excellent communication skills are a must.
Skills & Experience
- Construction/Civil Engineering, Architecture or relevant degree
- Excellent working knowledge of construction procedures, building systems and tools
- Ability to solve problems and work under pressure
- Knowledgeable at reading plans, shop drawings and specifications
- Excellent math and computer skills
- Ability to effectively communicate with workers and trades.
- Knowledge of MS Office
Key Qualifications:
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Eagerness to learn and take initiative
- Familiarity with reading plans and construction documents is a plus
