Oakland Center Building Manager
Position Overview:
Oakland Center Building Managers are responsible for managing and coordinating building activities during afternoon/evening hours and on weekends. Work closely with Oakland Center Administration, Facility custodians, Event Services team members, Guest Services team members, and Food service staff to facilitate a professional operation. Students are required to attend monthly staff meetings. This position reports to the Associate Director of Operations, Oakland Center.
Essential Duties:
- Opening and closing of the Oakland Center
- Ensure building security and safety
- Conducts building rounds to ensure policies are being met by building guests
- Assist and solve customer/patron problems
- Provide a professional level of customer service to all building users by satisfying group and individual needs
- Prepare nightly reports, facilities reports, and incident reports
