✨ Position: Audit Intern

The Audit and Assurance Seasonal Intern is exposed to a broad range of accounting, auditing, and consulting activities for clients, including healthcare entities, not-for-profit clients, casinos and the hospitality industry, financial institutions, commercial businesses, state and local government entities, and tribal governments. 

✔️ What You’ll Do

  • Work one on one with an internship audit manager to learn and develop basic accounting skills.
  • Provide continuous attention to building and expanding client relationships.
  • Obtain client expectations from Management Team and assists in developing an execution plan to meet client expectations.
  • Communicates matters to Senior and Manager that may impact billing and collections.
  • Primary source of timely information about scope changes.
  • Gain an understanding of planned approach and participates in plan execution.
  • Assumes responsibility for completing all assigned areas fully.

đź’Ľ What You Bring

  • Within one year of being eligible to sit for the CPA exam.
  • Basic understanding of accounting and reporting standards.
  • Minimum GPA of 3.2 or higher.
  • Flexible schedule.
  • Maintain a current driver’s license and proof of auto insurance.

  • Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  • Knowledge of the Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB).
  • Knowledge of the Governmental Accounting Standard Board (GASB), statements and original pronouncements.
