✨ Position: Tax Intern

The Tax Seasonal Intern assists in preparing tax returns and related duties while also performing tasks for other departments as time allows.

✔️ What You’ll Do

• Assist in the preparation of corporate, individual, partnership, fiduciary, and other tax returns prepared by the firm.
• Assists in work paper and special schedule preparation for tax examinations.
• Works with experienced tax staff to develop accounting skills.
• Assists with special projects.
• Assumes responsibility for completing all assigned areas fully.

💼 What You Bring

• Attained or be pursuing a bachelor’s degree in accounting, Business Administration or Finance.
• Minimum GPA of 3.2 or higher.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a desire to learn and ability to follow direction.
• Within one year of being eligible to sit for the CPA exam.

💫 What Sets You Apart

• Knowledge of basic principles of taxation.
• The ability to obtain and deploy a working knowledge of research techniques and the various research sources in the firm library.
• Intermediate Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Ability to learn new software programs quickly.
