
2025 Fall Intern - Office of Public Engagement
Position Information
The Office of Public Engagement prevents crime through outreach in communities across Pennsylvania. The office teaches young adults and parents about drug addiction and shows seniors how to avoid becoming the victim of a scam.
The Office of Public Engagement (OPE) intern will assist OPE staff in the development of outreach activities and materials to a variety of audiences on topics related to the Office of Attorney General’s jurisdiction, mission and vision.
Minimum Experience and Training
- Research best practices to prevent and/or address problem behaviors among youth, such as bullying, harassment, substance use, etc.
- Research current scams targeting older Pennsylvanians.
- Draft documents (PowerPoint decks, brochures, handouts, newsletters, etc.) to provide awareness and education to audiences.
- Compile statistics and data for reports.
- Assist OPE staff at onsite events (presentations, table events, etc.), as assigned.
Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
•Must be enrolled and in good standing with an accredited college or university.
•Must have completed at least 60 course credits towards a bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
