AI Development Intern

We are seeking an AI Development Intern who will support the development and implementation of artificial intelligence technologies within the Innovation team. This position is 100% onsite in Troy, MI. 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS (including but are not limited to)

· Assist in the design, development, and testing of AI models and algorithms.

· Analyze datasets to extract meaningful insights and contribute to model improvement.

· Help train, evaluate, and optimize machine learning models.

· Implement various AI techniques, including supervised and unsupervised learning, deep learning, and NLP.

· Assist in developing code for AI systems and tools using Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar frameworks.

· Work with cross-functional teams to integrate AI solutions into products or services.

· Participate in code reviews, documentation, and testing of AI systems.

· Stay up to date with the latest AI research and advancements.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

· Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field

· Basic knowledge of AI and machine learning concepts, algorithms, and tools.

· Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++.

· Experience with machine learning frameworks

· Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

· Ability to work in a team-oriented environment and independently when needed.

· Passion for AI technology and eagerness to learn new techniques and tools

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

· Knowledge of cloud computing platforms

· Experience with big data technologies

· Familiarity with version control systems
