Transportation DMV Technician 1 - Kanawha County

Under general supervision, the Transportation DMV Technician 1 performs entry level clerical work for the WV Division of Motor Vehicles by reviewing physical and electronic documentation verifying accuracy of information, entering data, providing information, and preparing written correspondence.    Work involves knowledge, interpretation, and the application of motor vehicle laws, policies, and procedures.  Other duties as required.

 

Minimum Requirements

REQUIRED TRAINING/EDUCATION    

  • Graduation from standard high school or the equivalent

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

  • No experience required.

 
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:  All applicants must consent to fingerprinting and a criminal background investigation.
