Logistics Coordinator - Dispatch

Looking for an experienced Dispatcher/Logistics Coordinator.

- Must be able to book spot market freight for owner operators.

- Negotiating and strategic communication skills a must

· Learning each driver’s profile, how they run, and their endorsements.

· Facilitating inbound and outbound calls on drivers and loads

· Updating live board throughout the day-to-day operations.

· Building loads and updating PCS throughout the day-to-day operations.

· Updating accounting with detentions, lumpers, or other issues

· Updating rate confirmations with lumper detentions and accepting signed rate confirmations.

· Managing delays and other issues that arise for loads and drivers.

· Bidding loads for drivers and brokers.

· Prebooking loads to ensure trucks are covered, when available to do so

· Reviewing hazmat and dry load paperwork for accuracy.

· Communicating paperwork issues with brokers, including, but not limited to hazmat issues and addressing differences.

· Monitoring dispatched drivers and ensuring on time performance.

· Facilitating teams with help and drivers’ financial goals for the week

· Assisting team member’s trucks in coverage.

· Communicating with other teams when you have loads offered that won’t work for your truck but may work for them.

· Responding to drivers’ calls after hours with emergencies, in rotation.

· Monitoring google voice messages at all times to be up to date and in communication with drivers

· Reviewing outside brokers’ credit to ensure compatibility.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
