Media Data Analyst Intern

As a Media Data Analyst Intern, you will play a crucial role in supporting the development and execution of media strategies for our clients. You will collaborate closely with senior staff to manage schedules, execute campaign buys, conduct research, and develop key documentation. This role offers a unique opportunity to build client relationships and enhance your skills in media planning and brand stewardship.
 

Responsibilities:

  • Work with media teams to create measurable campaign objectives and metrics for customized performance across multiple channels/clients.
  • Setup campaigns with the Media Planning team with appropriate tracking pixels and reporting dashboards, including smart goals, conversion goals, performance goals
  • Monitoring of campaign performance alongside paid media investment teams to alert on goal deviations
  • Automate reporting dashboards and actions between internal and external client teams
  • Prepare reports alongside strategy and account teams to generate insights post-campaign
  • Quickly understand multiple data sources and develop a methodology to tie the data together that will add value.
  • Manage measurement systems for data capture and reporting. 
  • Build a body of knowledge with the objective of informing future media decisions.

Qualifications: 

  • Working towards a  degree  in fields related to Qualitative and Quantitative data analysis (mathematics, statistics, economics, finance, engineering).
  • Experience in paid media such as Programmatic, Paid Social, and/ or Google, various digital marketing channels and databases for processing is a plus.
  • Experience  in  reporting analyst in an advertising agency or  business consultancy 
  • Experience using web analytics such as DoubleClick/DART, MediaMind, Omniture and Google Analytics.
  • Experience with reporting and BI dashboards such as Google Data Studio, Hive, PowerBI, Tableau, Lookup, or other BI tools
  • Experience with pixels, pixel implementation  including Google Tag Manager, Analytics, Social, Programmatic, and others such as OneTrust is a plus.
  • Goal setting across Google Analytics and other analytics platforms to monitor conversion
