Senior Windows System Administrator
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Windows System Administrator to manage, support, and optimize our Windows Server infrastructure. This role requires strong expertise in system administration, Microsoft technologies, server security, automation, and application support. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Windows Server environments, Microsoft Dynamics CRM, and a solid understanding of enterprise IT operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Administer and maintain Windows Server environments (2008, 2012, 2016, 2019, 2022), including patch management, user account management, event log analysis, Active Directory, and Group Policy.
Manage core infrastructure services such as DNS, DHCP, IIS, and File Services.
Configure and support high availability systems including load balancing, clustering, firewall rules, failover configurations, and performance tuning.
Monitor system performance, ensure system availability, and proactively troubleshoot and resolve issues related to servers, applications, and databases.
Perform software installations, server upgrades, patch deployments, and environment maintenance tasks.
Support application and server architecture planning, systems integration, and .NET application hosting for internal and external clients.
Design, implement, and manage workflows, plugins, reports, and integrations within Microsoft Dynamics CRM.
Document systems, processes, and procedures and provide recommendations for improvements and upgrades.
Support and participate in the SDLC and project lifecycle (PMLC), ensuring compliance with organizational standards.
Act as a liaison between development teams and business units, translating technical issues and solutions effectively.
Participate in on-call support and provide after-hours maintenance and issue resolution as needed.
Provide support for SharePoint platforms and collaborate with teams to leverage its features.
Contribute to process improvement initiatives and assist in developing operational best practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Extensive experience with Windows Server (2016/2019/2022) administration.
Strong understanding of DNS, DHCP, Active Directory, Group Policies, and PowerShell.
Proven experience managing IIS, SQL Server, and application performance troubleshooting.
Hands-on experience in Microsoft Dynamics CRM configuration and integration.
Familiarity with web/application server deployment and maintenance.
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently.
Working knowledge of TCP/IP networking and Windows/Linux OS administration.
Experience supporting Microsoft Office applications, Outlook, and modern web browsers.
Preferred Qualifications:
Microsoft Dynamics CRM certifications.
PowerShell scripting and automation experience.
Familiarity with programming/scripting languages.
Experience with SharePoint administration and customization.
Experience in large-scale enterprise software projects.
