Position Summary:
The Community Action, Learning, and Leadership (CALL) department is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Student Engagement Assistant to support administrative tasks and outreach activities. This role involves a blend of office work, creative tasks, and engaging with the campus community to promote the department’s programs and initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Administrative Support:
Perform general office duties such as data entry, record-keeping, and filing.
Proficient in Excel to organize and analyze departmental data.
Assist with scheduling, email correspondence, and other clerical tasks as needed.
Outreach Activities:
Represent the department at tabling events to inform students about programs and opportunities.
Distribute flyers and other materials to promote events and initiatives.
Engage with students to increase awareness of the department's mission and services.
Content Creation:
Design flyers, brochures, and informational materials using Canva.
Create and schedule social media posts to highlight department activities and events.
Ensure materials are visually appealing and aligned with departmental branding guidelines.
