Entry-Level Recruiter

High Rise Solutions is seeking an Entry-Level Internal Recruiter to manage our company’s full-cycle recruitment and talent acquisition processes. As an entry-level recruiter, you need to work to understand the company's hiring goals. Your duties involve a lot of networking and negotiation, so interpersonal skills are crucial. In this position, you will identify our company’s hiring needs, maintain our current talent pool, and schedule interviews with potential candidates for open roles within our organization. You will support the Director in administrative duties and be responsible for multiple types of inventory for the office. 

Our ideal candidate for this role should have an HR academic background. You should have excellent observational and interpersonal skills to source and identify highly qualified candidates. You must also have great attention to detail and organizational skills. 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Director to assess employee performance, identify goals, and track retention rates for interviews and agents.
  • Provide administrative support in tasks such as evaluating and qualifying resumes, creating documents for office use, creating marketing materials for office use, issuing suggestive paperwork, and all onboarding processes.
  • Reach out to candidates with prequalifying questions and schedule them for preliminary interviews based on the Director/Company's needs.
  • Assisting the Director with any other tasks that may need to be completed for the office.
  • Keeping an inventory of uniforms, tablets, training badges, etc.

Requirements:

  • Positive attitude: People on both sides of a job-seeking relationship may encounter challenges and frustrations as they search for employment. A successful recruiter will be encouraging and positive to potential matches.
  • Good research techniques: A recruiter spends a significant portion of their time finding resumes from professional job search sites, networking, and personal interaction. They accumulate a pool of candidates and keep that information organized.
  • Good interviewing skills: Whether the Recruiter speaks with a candidate or hiring manager in person, on the phone, or electronically, it is important to know how to efficiently ask questions that help them understand the applicant’s skills or the company’s job requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in customer-service-related fields or professions that focus on interpersonal skills, deft organization skills, and proficient communication.
  • This is an entry-level position, so no experience in this exact field is required, but experience in a similar role is preferred. 
  • Candidates must have a professional appearance.
