Senior iOS Developer

Senior iOS Developer (Volunteer)

Location: Remote
Commitment: Flexible, Part-Time Volunteer Role

Hi there!
We’re TriSphere Applications, a fully volunteer-powered startup building meaningful mobile apps and games — from helping kids sleep better with interactive bedtime adventures, to AI-powered tools that connect jewelers with customers, and wellness trackers that encourage sustainable living. We’re on a mission to make tech that feels good — and does good.

Right now, we’re looking for a Senior iOS Developer to join our team and help lead the charge on our growing Swift-based app portfolio.

🌟 What You’ll Do:

Lead development on iOS apps using Swift and modern frameworks like SwiftUI, Combine, and Firebase

Mentor junior devs, contribute to code reviews, and help structure clean, maintainable architecture

Collaborate closely with product designers, QA testers, and animators to build fun, reliable, and polished experiences

Own end-to-end features — from planning and prototyping to App Store submission

Stay current on iOS trends, new APIs, and best practices — and bring ideas to the table!

💡 A Few of Our Active Projects:

MoonLeaping – A bedtime game where kids help a cow jump over the moon, designed to gently guide them to sleep

Gem Genius AI – A smart assistant that helps jewelers and shoppers evaluate, compare, and showcase jewelry

Eco Habit Tracker – Encourages daily eco-friendly habits through a virtual garden, leaderboard, and real-world donations

My First PC Build – An educational app teaching teens how to build a PC, complete with quizzes and simulations

H2Penguin – A smart-watch app with a cute penguin that reminds you to hydrate during the day

✅ What We’re Looking For:

3+ years of experience with iOS development in Swift

Strong understanding of SwiftUI, UIKit, Combine, and async code

Experience integrating Firebase, REST APIs, in-app purchases, and push notifications

Solid Git habits and experience with CI/CD tools

A collaborative mindset, willingness to mentor, and genuine excitement for creative apps

Bonus: familiarity with animations, accessibility, or game development

🚀 What You’ll Gain:

A real leadership role on a growing team of kind, skilled creators

A chance to ship apps and games that actually help people — and see your work on the App Store

Creative freedom in a low-pressure, mission-driven environment

Volunteer experience that actually builds your portfolio and résumé

The chance to mentor others and grow in both technical and leadership directions
