Position: Executive Assistant Intern

Affordable Medical Supplies is a family-owned store that has proudly served the Dallas metroplex for over 20 years. Our goal is to assist our clients in finding the best medical supplies that suit their needs. We are one of the few providers in the area that work with insurance to help patients receive their medical equipment. Our team serves with an understanding heart and aims to educate our customers on their provided services. Intern Job Description

  • Provide administrative support to the CEO in day-to-day tasks
  • Contribute to the development and establishment of the employee handbook and HR department
  • Assist with research, analysis, and preparation of reports to aid in decision-making processes
  • Coordinate and schedule meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements
  • Maintain confidential company and employee information
  • Learn the basics of running a small business in healthcare
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by the CEO

 

Intern Requirements/Responsibilities

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
  • Minimum of 20 hours per week

 

Compensation: Starting between $12 - $14/hr (part-time)

 

Duration: 8-12 weeks
