RESPONSIBILITIES
· Independently create full design concepts for projects based on Creative Director’s design vision.
· Read architectural plans and produce scaled sketches, technical drawings, and space plans.
· Source materials and finishes based upon new construction and/or remodeling specifications.
· Prepare for client presentations by creating design boards, floorplans, drawings, and elevations.
· Research new products and materials.
· Lead site meetings and be a professional representative of the company.
· Attention to detail and problem solving skills are absolutely necessary for this position.
· Self-motivation is key and candidates must be able to develop and manage multiple internal and external project schedules.
Skills and Qualifications
· Degree in interior design, design school or equivalent experience.
· MUST have a strong proficiency in AutoCAD with samples showcasing ability in space planning, as well as millwork/cabinetry design.
· MUST be able to communicate well (both verbally and written) with clients and various trade partners – product reps, architects, contractors, etc. and must ALWAYS have a positive attitude when doing so. We have worked very hard to cultivate our relationships, and we value them greatly.
· High level of organizational skills.
· Experience with quotes, proposals, budgets, purchasing process.
· Other necessary skills: SketchUp, Google Suite – Slides, Sheets & Docs, and MS – Excel, PowerPoint, Photoshop and Word. Quickbooks is a plus.
· Proficiency at navigating showrooms and obtaining pricing. Must also have knowledge of trade resources and vendors.

Order Management: Purchase Order, Order Acknowledgements, Payment Requests
Product Receiving Management: Tracking, Receiving, Deliveries and Scheduling
Quality Assurance Management: Receiving, Repair, Claims, Budget Management
Installation Management: Scheduling, On-Site Installation Supervision, Post-Installation Follow-Up
