Physician - Neuropathologist

Duties and responsibilities involve directing the National VA PTSD Brain Bank, including overseeing and performing neuropathological workups, tissue distribution, and data management. Duties also include assistance with neuropathological workups for other VA and Boston University based brain banks as well as clinical service obligations on the surgical neuropathology service for the Boston VA Healthcare System. The candidate is expected to participate in academic activities that include clinical and/or basic research (investigator-initiated or collaborative), as well as teaching of medical school students, residents, fellows, and non-Pathology faculty colleagues. Position consists of 51% or more clinical duties.
