Live Sports Broadcaster & Commentator

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Live Sports Broadcaster & Commentator to deliver real-time, engaging, and insightful commentary during live sports events. This role demands a deep understanding of the game, the ability to analyze action as it unfolds, and the charisma to keep audiences informed and entertained. The ideal candidate will be able to communicate clearly, react quickly, and bring energy, personality, and professionalism to every broadcast.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver live play-by-play and color commentary for sports events across multiple platforms 

Prepare thoroughly for each event, including researching team/player statistics, storylines, and key matchups.

Conduct pre-game, halftime, and post-game reports, interviews, and analysis.

Work closely with camera operators, producers, and audio technicians to ensure a smooth and professional broadcast.

Maintain accuracy in reporting scores, stats, and game developments.

Uphold journalistic integrity and sportsmanship at all times.

Travel to various venues for live coverage, sometimes on evenings and weekends.

Qualifications:

Proven experience in live sports commentary, broadcasting, or journalism.

In-depth knowledge of at least one sport (football, basketball, baseball, hockey, etc.); multi-sport knowledge a plus.

Strong verbal communication, storytelling, and on-air presence.

Ability to think quickly and adapt during fast-paced live situations.

Technical familiarity with broadcast equipment and software preferred.

Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Sports Media, or equivalent experience.
