Position Title

Full Stack Web Development, Data, and AI Intern

Location

Remote-first with in-person opportunities in Southern Florida

Duration

One Semester

Time Commitment

  • Full-Time Students: 10 - 20 hours per week
  • Part-Time Students: 20 - 30 hours per week
  • CITRIS University of California Students: 30 hours per week for 8 weeks (between May - July)

As a Full Stack Web Development, Data, and AI Intern at StartNoo.com, you will gain hands-on experience in building and optimizing a real-world technology platform. This is an opportunity to be deeply involved in a fast-paced startup environment, working at the intersection of software development, data engineering, and AI to enhance user experience, automation, and platform intelligence.

Responsibilities

πŸ–₯️ Full Stack Development: Contribute to the front-end and back-end development of StartNoo.com, ensuring a seamless and scalable experience for users.

πŸ› οΈ Ruby on Rails Development: Work with Ruby on Rails to build, maintain, and optimize backend functionalities and API integrations.

🎨 Frontend Design & Development: Utilize Bootstrap and JavaScript frameworks to enhance UI responsiveness and user experience.

πŸ“Š Data Engineering & Analytics: Assist in PostgreSQL database management, data collection, processing, and visualization to drive decision-making and improve platform efficiency.

πŸ€– AI & Automation: Explore and implement AI-driven features, such as chatbots, recommendation engines, and predictive analytics.

πŸ§‘β€πŸ’» UI/UX Enhancements: Collaborate with the design team to improve user experience and interface design.

πŸš€ Performance Optimization: Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, ensuring the platform remains fast, secure, and reliable.

βš™οΈ API & Integration Development: Work with third-party APIs to integrate services that enhance platform capabilities.

🀝 Team Collaboration: Participate in scrum meetings, brainstorming sessions, and contribute innovative solutions.

Qualifications

πŸ’» Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, AI, or a related field.

πŸ“š Must be used for academic credit toward the completion of a degree.

πŸ› οΈ Proficiency in:

  • Front-End: JavaScript (React, Vue, or Angular), HTML/CSS, Bootstrap
  • Back-End: Ruby on Rails, Node.js, or Python
  • Database Management: PostgreSQL, SQL, NoSQL (MongoDB, Firebase, etc.)
  • Cloud & DevOps (Bonus): AWS, GCP, or Azure

πŸ€– Familiarity with AI frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, OpenAI, or LangChain is a plus.
