Seeking a curious, organized, and systems-minded individual to support the social media and communications side of our company. As Communications Intern, you’ll help SAL grow by supporting content production, social media accounts, and event promotion. This is a great opportunity for someone interested in education and/or values-oriented entrepreneurship.
The Job
- Manage and create content for company social media (Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.)
- Maintain and evolve branding using existing assets and new ideas
- Monitor company email and Google voicemail, respond to inquiries, and route messages as needed
- Manage, coordinate, and research content for the company blog, InquireEd Studio
- Track and report analytics for social media and blog performance
- Support communications and outreach for events, calls for submissions, and product promotion
- Help maintain and improve internal systems (e.g., databases, project tracking, documentation)
- Attend planning meetings, take notes, and support follow-ups
- Provide general project coordination and communication support
We’re Looking for Someone:
- Currently enrolled in a degree-granting undergraduate program, preferably in their third or fourth year
- Majoring in Communications, Media, Business, or a related field
- Interested in a primarily communications-based internship with room for growth and learning related to business
- Interested in education, communications, or nonprofit strategy
- Comfortable researching, organizing information, and working independently
- Strong writing and communication skills; detail-oriented and reliable
- Eager to learn new tools (e.g., Google Suite, Airtable, Mailchimp, Notion)
- Able to commute to DUMBO, Brooklyn NY
- Creative thinker who asks thoughtful questions and enjoys making systems better
- Excited by the idea of helping a small, growing organization deepen its impact
