Our vibrant and dynamic Language Academy is searching for a fun-loving, energetic, and passionate Mandarin Chinese speaker to bring language to life for school-aged children (Kinder – 5th grade)!
Imagine leading a classroom where…
- Children whip up delicious dishes while learning new words in a cooking class
- Young artists paint vivid stories in Mandarin
- Music fills the air as they sing and dance their way through language
- Science experiments spark curiosity and wonder
- History and culture come alive in an engaging, hands-on journey through time!
Hours of Fun & Learning:
- Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday: 2 PM – 6 PM
- Tuesday: 1 PM – 6 PM
Are You Our Perfect Language Wizard?
We’re looking for someone who:
✔ Loves working with children and making learning joyful and immersive
✔ Has a strong work ethic and thrives in a creative, high-energy environment
✔ Is self-motivated, organized, and full of fresh ideas
✔ Communicates with passion and enthusiasm
✔ Brings flexibility and adaptability to every class
✔ Has experience teaching or leading kids’ activities (a plus!)
✔ Is a native Mandarin speaker and can work legally in the U.S.
Additional Enchantments:
- Must provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination (per LAUSD guidelines)
- Pre-employment background check required
