On-Camera Video Creator (Product-Focused, Remote, Part-Time)

About Tintype:

Tintype is a lightweight, modular, compartment-based operations system designed for teams juggling overlapping projects across clients, tools, and timelines. Think of us as the OS for multi-client service teams from creative studios to dev shops and marketing agencies.

We’re building a clean, human brand and looking to bring it to life through short-form video content across Instagram and TikTok.

 

The Role:

We’re looking for someone confident and natural on camera to help us create product-focused content that explains what Tintype is, how it works, and why it works for teams, features explanation

You'll be the face of our short-form video content  recording explainer-style walkthroughs, use-case breakdowns, and campaign-friendly reels that make our features simple, visual, and engaging. You won’t be in charge of posting or strategy (we’ve got that covered)  your job is to be on camera and help us make the product feel alive. There's a good amount of talking. 

 

What You'll Do:

  • Appear in short, polished videos (Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts) explaining Tintype’s features and use cases
  • Collaborate with our team on ideas, outlines, and scripts for explainer and product videos
  • Shoot content remotely (we’ll help with guides, props, or production direction as needed)
  • Occasionally appear with the founder in co-hosted content
  • Help make business tools feel useful, modern, and human

 

Who you are:

  • Are confident, clear, and warm on camera
  • Have a strong sense of visual storytelling and pacing for short-form video
  • Love explaining how things work in a way that makes people say “oh, I get it”
  • Are familiar with Instagram Reels, TikTok promotion, and what performs well on each platform
  • Have access to a decent phone or camera for filming (we’ll handle editing)
  • Bonus: You’ve worked with a B2B brand, SaaS product, or startup content before

 

 

Remote

Part-time / three videos per month

Paid opportunity

Focus is Instagram-first, with periodic TikTok usage

 

To Apply:

Send us 2–3 short-form videos where you’ve appeared on camera ideally explaining something or showcasing a product/service. A TikTok, Reel, or portfolio link is perfect.
