Your Role:

Throughout this program, you will explore various facets of R&D, including Product Development, Early Research, and Application Support and Development.

 

Starting with your first assignment at our West Coast base in Tempe, Arizona, you'll then embark on two additional assignments within different segments of our electronics business—one of which will take you abroad to one of our global subsidiaries. This unique experience will provide you with a comprehensive understanding of the specialty chemistry landscape, exposure to diverse technologies and applications, and an appreciation for cultural differences as you collaborate within our global organization. Your contributions will directly impact our projects and drive the success of EMD Electronics.

 

Program Start Date: Fall 2025

 

Who You Are:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Science (Chemistry, Materials Science, etc.) or Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, etc.)

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Ph. D. or Master’s Degree in Science (Chemistry, Materials Science, etc.) or Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, etc.)
  • Data and digital skills
  • International experience
  • Excellent communication skills (both oral and written)
  • Bilingual skills
  • 1+ year practical experience as an R&D intern in the electronics industry
  • Flexible, collaborative team player who is willing to go the extra mile to ensure project success
  • Highly motivated, curious, and passionate about discovering innovative solutions to exciting challenges
