Gymnastics Coach – Great for Kinesiology & Early Childhood Majors
About the Job:
Flip 2 It Sports Center is looking for energetic, compassionate, and coachable individuals to join our team! We offer part-time and full-time positions coaching gymnastics, ninja, and adaptive movement classes for children ages 12 months and up—including disabled and neurodivergent students.
This is a perfect role for college students in kinesiology, education, child development, or psychology looking to build hands-on experience working with kids in a high-energy, inclusive environment.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Lead or assist recreational gymnastics, ninja, and adaptive movement classes
Encourage and motivate students through positive coaching techniques
Support students of all abilities with kindness, patience, and flexibility
Help maintain a safe, clean, and supportive environment
Participate in team training and ongoing skill development
Communicate with coworkers and families in a respectful, professional manner
Have fun and make a real difference in a child’s life!

Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to lead and motivate young children
Willingness to learn and be coached
Adaptability and patience (especially with neurodivergent or disabled students)
Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
Minimum Requirements:
Must be at least 16 years old
Able to lift 40+ pounds and be on your feet/moving for extended periods
Background check required if over 18
Availability for consistent shifts (evenings and/or weekends preferred)
No experience required—we train you!
