Quality Control Chemist

Gurtler Industries, an ISO Certified company specializing in the manufacture of advanced chemical products for the commercial laundry industry. Being a leader in our market-space, and as a result of continued growth and increasing market share, a full-time position has opened within the Quality Control /Technical Support laboratory.

This hands-on position will be actively involved in the daily acceptance & qualification testing of manufactured products, raw materials, setting QC specifications, conducting product performance evaluation of blended laundry detergents, preparing controlled specification documents and supporting the Company’s ISO Quality Management program. Working with other team members, you will interact in the laboratory setting conducting principle wet-chemistry testing.

Additional opportunities conducting product performance evaluation of formulated laundry detergents and supporting the textile industry are anticipated. The ability to articulately communicate both verbally and in document preparation are key skill requirements, as are the ability to trouble-shoot and think independently. Strong organizational skills are paramount. Some work-shift flexability is required to support an extended production day.

The ideal candidate will possess a BA/BS in the physical sciences. Computer aptitude, strong interpersonal skills and an ability to communicate are paramount to your success. Previous experience with ISO/cGMP programs are beneficial. Military veterans are encouraged to apply.

Pay: $50,000.00 per year
