Behavior Technician (ABA Therapist – Entry Level)
We are seeking college students or recent graduates in psychology, education, social work, or related fields to work as Behavior Technicians providing 1:1 therapy for children with developmental needs. This is a hands-on opportunity to gain clinical experience, receive paid supervision, and become certified as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT).
Technicians will also support social skills groups and help implement programs that promote communication, independence, and emotional regulation.

The Behavior Corner LLC delivers personalized, relationship-focused ABA therapy to children with autism and developmental differences. Services are provided in home, community, and center-based settings, with a focus on building functional communication, independence, and meaningful social relationships.
Position Summary:
We are hiring entry-level Behavior \ who are passionate about working with children and ready to make a positive impact. This role is ideal for individuals with experience in daycare, preschool, or early childhood education who are interested in starting or advancing a career in ABA.
Technicians will participate in a two-week paid onboarding period and receive ongoing weekly paid training. Within the first 30 days of hire, new technicians will be supported in completing their 40-hour RBT training and preparing for the RBT certification exam.
Service Settings:
- In-home therapy
- Center-based sessions
- Community-based support (e.g., playgrounds, libraries, group activities)
Compensation & Benefits
- Hourly Rate: $18.00 - $26.00 per hour (based on experience and certification).
- Training Pay: $15.00 per hour during initial mandatory training period (first two weeks).
- Bonuses: Performance-based bonuses may be offered periodically.
- Paid Time Off: Eligible employees accrue PTO after six months of employment.
- Professional Development: We encourage and may provide partial reimbursement for approved training and certification courses.
Required Availability:
- Weekday early afternoons and evenings (required)
- Weekends are optional (available for center and community sessions)
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver 1:1 ABA therapy under the supervision of a BCBA
- Lead and assist in social skills groups and relationship-focused activities
- Implement behavior support plans and skill acquisition programs
- Accurately record session data and complete required documentation
- Participate in weekly clinical training and team meetings
- Collaborate with parents, BCBAs, and other staff to support client progress
Physical & Mental Requirements
- Must be able to stand, walk, run, bend, lift (up to 50 lbs), and engage in physical activities with clients.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and adapt to the child’s changing needs.
- Capacity to problem-solve and respond to emergency situations in a professional manner.
Additional Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED (required)
- Reliable transportation
- Must pass background checks and clearances
- Must complete 40-hour RBT training within 1 month of hire
- Willingness to pursue RBT certification (support provided)
Training & Professional Development
- The Behavior Corner LLC requires ongoing training in Autism, Developmental Disabilities, Applied Behavior Analysis, and Verbal Behavior Therapy.
- Employees are encouraged to pursue Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification within 3 months (assistance may be available).
