About us

As the name implies, The Utah Moldova Business Partnership (UMBP) is a collaborative nonprofit of professionals and organizations dedicated to economic growth in one of Eastern Europe’s poorest nations, The Republic of Moldova. Formed in 2015 by Clark Ivory, the CEO of Ivory Homes, the organization has gained a vast network and serviced many entrepreneurs, companies, and Institutions. The ways in which the summer 2024 interns will seek to make an impact include but are not limited to:

1. Consulting and Business Services - Managing and implementing projects across a spectrum of businesses with varying scopes, tailored for Strategy Interns.

2. Business Education Events - Creating events catered to various audiences encompassing an array activities, such as seminars and conferences.

3. IT Development (Coding Courses) - Directing coding courses and assisting in web design/construction in business services tailored for Coding/Technology Strategy Interns.

4. Commercial Lending - Vetting, and managing proposals/loans.

Who we are looking for:

An internship with UMBP gives you an opportunity to work closely with a team to provide the above-mentioned services to businesses in Moldova. The duration of the internship is 8 weeks in the summer, in Chisinau, Republic of Moldova. The ability to speak either Russian or Romanian is a plus but not required. A background in a business discipline (marketing, Econ, accounting, etc.) and/or computer programming (for coding interns) is preferred. Flights, housing, and monthly stipends will be provided by the Utah Moldova Business Partnership.
