$1,875 stipend for semester (paid twice a month) | 10 hrs/week

Love working with kids and teens? Exploring a future in education, ministry, or leadership? St. John’s United Methodist Church, Baton Rouge, LA is now accepting applications for our Family Ministry Intern position! This 14-week, part-time internship (approx. 10 hours/week) gives you hands-on experience mentoring and leading 6th-12th grade youth.

What You’ll Get:

  • Practical experience in ministry & leadership
  • $1,875 stipend (paid semi-monthly)
  • Opportunities to teach, lead events, and build real relationships
     

Who We're Looking For:
College students or young adults (19+) who are dependable, energetic, and ready to serve. Education, humanities, or ministry majors are a great fit—but all majors are welcome!

Commitment Includes:

  • Sundays (attend worship + help lead Sunday School 3x/month)
  • Monthly Youth Bible Study, Family Ministry events, monthly Wednesday Night Fellowship
  • Occasional weekend events/trips
