Jr. Theater Technical Director

 The Jr. Theater Technical Director is responsible for overseeing all technical aspects of a production, ensuring the smooth operation of technical elements such as sound, scenery, lighting, and stage management.

In essence, the JR Technical Director plays a critical role in any theater production, ensuring that the technical aspects of the show are executed safely, efficiently, and to the highest possible standard. 

The Jr Technical Director will report to the Senior Tech Director, the Executive Director, and the Operations Manager. 

• Technical Expertise:  Strong knowledge of theatrical rigging, lighting, sound, and load-in and out of equipment.   
• Project Management: Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines. 
• Problem-Solving:  Ability to identify and resolve technical issues efficiently. 
• Communication: Clear and effective communication skills, both written and verbal. 
• Leadership: Ability to motivate and manage a team of technical professionals. 
• Safety Awareness:  Through an understanding of safety regulations and procedures.
