Town Clinician/Outpatient Children Clinician

TOWN CLINICIAN/OUTPATIENT CHILDREN CLINICIAN

 

Pay Rate starts at $30.00 per hour; $62,400K annually for license eligible Clinicians

Higher rates for licensed & independently licensed Clinicians

 

This position requires the clinician to work out of multiple locations: Beford Youth and Family Office, Bedford Public School, The Edinburg Center (Bedford)

 

Who You Are:  

  • Master’s degree in social work, psychology, counseling, or a related field required.
  • Independent licensure (LICSW, LMHC, LMFT) in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts preferred.
  • Minimum of three years of clinical experience.
  • Experience working with youth, adults and families.
  • Experience with diverse populations and a range of mental health issues.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Strong knowledge of youth and adult serving systems.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Flexible schedule and ability to work evenings as needed.
  • Valid MA driver’s license and reliable transportation.

What You Will Do:

 

  • Assessment and Consultation: Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine clients' mental health needs and provide consultation to clients and their families.
  • Therapeutic Interventions: Provide individual, couples, family, and group therapy using evidence-based treatment modalities.
    1. Provide both in-person and virtual appointments to accommodate diverse needs and preferences to Individuals aged 5 and above.
  • Crisis Intervention: Offer immediate support and intervention during mental health crises.
  • Specialty Services: Demonstrate clinical experience in areas such as social anxiety, depression, family dysfunction/conflict, grief, loss, and relationship issues.
  • Collaboration with onsite clinicians to see individuals on an urgent basis as needed.
  • Make referrals as appropriate to provide access to psychopharmacology, psychological testing, day programs, emergency assessments, and other clinical services as appropriate.
  • Meeting Attendance: Attend Town Staff Meetings and Edinburg Outpatient Staff Meetings.
  • Attend professional development training when appropriate.
  • Reporting & Documentation: Document progress notes for all sessions in the Electronic Health Record System.
