Hydraulics Design Engineer (TE2)

Union Gap, WA – South Central Region

$71,472 – $96,144 Annually

Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) is currently seeking a skilled Hydraulics Design Engineer in Union Gap, WA. This position works independently and with a team of engineers and technicians to develop plans and specifications for roadway projects that conform to state standards and laws. This individual supports the Project Development Office with the technical and regulatory aspects associated with the field of Hydraulics. Provides hydraulic related support to ensure compliance with WSDOT runoff and drainage policies and environmental regulations including the Clean Water Act, National Environmental Policy Act, Washington State Hydraulics Code, State Environmental Policy Act, National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System and WSDOT policies and guidance.
