Licensed Mental Health Counselor

Job Description

Responsibilities:
- Conduct patient assessments to determine their needs and develop appropriate treatment plans
- Provide individual and group therapy sessions to patients
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate and implement patient care plans
- Assist patients in accessing community resources and support services
- Document patient progress and maintain accurate medical records
- Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding treatment options and available resources

Qualifications:
- License in Mental Health Counseling
- Experience working in a hospital or healthcare setting is preferred
- Experience in conducting group therapy sessions and facilitating support groups
- Strong assessment skills to evaluate patients' mental health, emotional well-being, and social functioning
- Knowledge of cognitive behavioral therapy techniques for addressing mental health issues

Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
