Digital Marketing Analyst

We are hiring for our Digital Marketing Analyst positions. In this role, you will specialize in one of three areas: Search Engine Optimization, Paid Media, or Email Marketing. 

The Search Engine Optimization Analyst is responsible for improving web and Google performance for clients through optimizing existing content, creating SEO-focused content, and developing new digital marketing strategies.

The Paid Media Analyst is responsible for campaign setup, optimization, scalability of existing channels, discovery and implementation of new channels, and reporting on Google, Meta, LinkedIn, Amazon, and other platforms.

The Email Marketing Analyst is responsible for driving client performance through strategic planning, execution, and optimization of email campaigns and automated flows. This role focuses on improving customer engagement, retention, and revenue by creating targeted content, managing list segmentation, and leveraging performance data to refine digital marketing strategies.

Responsibilities & Duties

SEO

  • Execute various elements of a client’s digital marketing strategy
  • Provide SEO analysis and recommendations in coordination with elements and structure of websites and web pages
  • Perform extensive keyword research in coordination with client business objectives to optimize existing content and uncover new opportunities
  • Assist in the creation of new SEO-focused content to increase incoming traffic from Google and other search engines
  • Research trending topics within a variety of industries to develop relevant content
  • Monitor and evaluate search results and search performance across the major search channels
  • Perform monthly planning and reporting in coordination with digital marketing and client goals
  • Build strong and positive relationships with clients and other levels of the 20North organization (Advertising, Web Development, Sales, Email Marketing)
  • Stay updated with SEO, search engine, social media, and internet marketing industry trends and developments

Paid Media

  • Maintain an efficient, scalable paid media strategy for clients
  • Communicate clearly with clients to provide updates regularly on the status of campaigns, performance, goals, and optimizations
  • Build strong relationships and rapport with clients
  • Interact comfortably at all levels of the organization
  • Hone knowledge of industry best practices, client verticals, and new technologies
  • Monitor and administer web analytics dashboards, key reporting tools, and highlight areas of importance in accordance client goals
  • Monitor and evaluate campaign results and performance across relevant advertising channels
  • Communicate to team and management on project development, timelines, and results
  • Work closely with other team members to meet client goals

Email Marketing 

  • Partner with clients and internal teams to design email programs—defining cadence, email types, segmentation, and personalization tactics .
  • Architect and implement triggered automation (e.g., welcome series, cart reminders) using platforms like Klaviyo
  • Track email metrics (open, click-through, conversion rates), deliver campaign performance insights, and iterate toward higher ROI
  • Produce end-to-end campaigns including promotional blasts, product launches, newsletters—owning copywriting, design coordination, layout, and testing

Required Professional Qualifications

  • Google Analytics Certified
  • Experience working with Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and Google Tag Manager
  • A basic understanding of HTML
  • Knowledge of current and developing SEO trends and best practices
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
  • Google Ad Certified
  • Google Analytics Certified
  • BS/BA degree
