UI/UX Developer Intern - Fall 2025

About Us: Sorcea is an innovative tech startup in the e-commerce space. We offer a personalized, ad-free shopping platform called Sorcea, connecting shoppers to products that have worked for people just like them. We provide CPG brands with first-party e-commerce and marketing analytics.

Internship Duration: Fall 2025 (approximately August 25 to December 19)

Position Type: Unpaid, Remote (possibility for in-person collaboration if in the Cleveland area)

Work Schedule: This internship is part-time and hours are flexible, we ask typically for a minimum of 10-15 hours a week. Furthermore, we do not have designated work times during the day, interns are able to work whenever is best as long as agreed upon hours are met.

Learning Opportunity: This internship is designed as a learning opportunity for students and young professionals seeking real-world experience in a small tech startup environment. You'll gain hands-on experience in front-end development, UI/UX design, and the dynamics of a growing e-commerce platform.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Pursuing or have completed a BS in Computer Science, Data Science, or any technology-based degree relevant to the responsibilities of this role

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with Figma, React, HTML, and CSS
• User-experience and mobile-first design skills
• Prior marketing experience!
• Strong problem-solving abilities
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Primary Responsibilities:

• Contribute to feature development and UI/UX design on our website
• Participate in projects that align with your skills and career ambitions
• Offer suggestions and improvements to our existing systems
• Learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies as needed
