Fall 2025 Thames & Hudson Trade Publishing Intern

The Thames & Hudson trade intern will be exposed to many aspects of illustrated publishing working with our editorial, marketing, and publicity departments, making it an ideal opportunity for someone who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and looking to begin a career in publishing. 

Successful candidates must: 

• Be proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
• Be energetic and detail-oriented
• Have superior writing and oral communication skills
• Be able to work independently and efficiently

Responsibilities include: 

• Editing book jacket copy
• Formatting weekly production schedules and reprint reports
• Creating presentations for sales conferences
• Assisting with metadata prep
• Researching media contacts
• Drafting press releases

This is a paid position that runs from mid-September to mid-November. The internship is approximately twenty hours a week. This is a hybrid position, and candidates must be available to work in the Manhattan office two days a week.
