Hotel Sales and Catering Manager
We are seeking an experienced, driven, and results-oriented Sales & Catering Manager to join our dynamic hospitality team at our premier 432-room hotel condo located in the heart of Orlando’s iconic International Drive. This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive sales professional who thrives in building relationships, closing group business, and ensuring memorable event experiences from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities:
- Actively prospect and secure new group business, meetings, and events through networking, local outreach, cold calls, and partnerships.
- Manage the entire sales cycle: lead generation, site tours, proposal development, contracting, and post-event follow-up.
- Establish and achieve monthly and annual sales goals and revenue targets.
- Prepare and analyze hotel sales reports, monitor KPIs, and adjust strategies to meet or exceed goals.
- Serve as the main point of contact for groups and events — from planning through execution.
- Write and detail all Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Work closely with operational departments to ensure seamless event execution and guest satisfaction.
- Represent the property at networking events, trade shows, and community functions.
- Maintain a strong presence on-site during events, ensuring client satisfaction and managing last-minute needs.
- Embrace an aggressive, energetic approach to sales, focused on maximizing occupancy and event revenue.
Qualifications:
Only candidates that have Hotel Sales & Catering expereince will be considered.
- 3+ years of proven success in hotel sales and catering, in a resort or condo-hotel setting.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Experience with 300+ Condo style hotel suites
- Computer Skills (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Sales Software Knowledge Helpful (i.e. Salesforce/Delphi, Maestro)
- Excellent time management, organization and detail-oriented skills
- Familiarity with your property’s core market (corporate, SMERF, weddings, conventions)
- Knowledge of hotel and food & beverage operations
- A go-getter mentality with a passion for hospitality and sales.
- Ability to work flexible hours based on event and client needs.
